KYKLart philosophy

Art + Nature

Nature is our inspiration. As a social enterprise, we create opportunities for artists—locally and internationally—to connect, collaborate, and produce work inspired by the Cycladic landscape.

Through residencies, guided walks and artistic interventions in nature, audiovisual production, and educational activities, we foster practices that respect and respond to both the natural and social environment. We prioritize low-impact approaches, the use of natural materials, and meaningful engagement with local communities.

At the core of everything we do lies a commitment to coexistence—where creativity evolves in balance with place, people, and ecosystem.

Art as a way of being

We don’t treat the Cyclades as a backdrop for artistic production. The landscape, the materials, and the local rhythms actively shape the work. Art here is not imposed—it emerges through coexistence with the natural and social environment.

Practice before narrative

Rather than starting from theory or branding, KYKLart builds its identity through action: residencies, routes, interventions, and shared experiences. Projects like Common Ground are not showcases, but processes—spaces where relationships with place and people are formed in real time.

Living network

KYKLart is not a fixed community but an evolving constellation of artists, thinkers, and practitioners. Rooted in the Cyclades yet open outward, it creates conditions for meaningful encounters—where exchange, not exposure, is the primary goal.
