Embracing Syros Landscape | artistic walk

(ακολουθεί το κείμενο στα ελληνικά) KYKLart launches “Common Ground”, a programme of activities that brings together art, nature, and public participation across the Cyclades. The programme’s first event, “Embracing Syros Landscape”, will take place on Thursday, June 18, at 19:30, along the Delfini – Kini trail, featuring visual artist Dimitra Skandali.

Through this artistic walk, the artist “embraces” the landscape of Syros using natural and other materials collected from different parts of the world, listening to the place and sharing her artistic imprint with participants. The event invites the public to walk, observe, and discover the landscape through a different, artistic perspective. Originally from Paros and with a significant international presence in the field of contemporary art, Dimitra Skandali draws inspiration from nature, sustainability, and the relationship between humans and their environment. Her installations explore increasing environmental risks, ephemerality, the redefinition of our relationship with nature, and the search for identity through peaceful coexistence.

μπλε δύση, περπατώντας

τα ν(ο)ήματα"

Η KYKLart σας προσκαλεί στην πρώτη δράση του προγράμματος ΚΟΙΝΟΣ ΤΟΠΟΣ, μιας σειράς δράσεων που φέρνουν σε διάλογο την τέχνη, τη φύση και τις τοπικές κοινωνίες των Κυκλάδων.

Την Πέμπτη 18 Ιουνίου, η εικαστικός Δήμητρα Σκανδάλη μάς καλεί σε έναν διαφορετικό περίπατο στο μονοπάτι Δελφίνι – Κίνι.

Πώς μπορούμε να παρατηρήσουμε ένα τοπίο διαφορετικά; Πώς η τέχνη μπορεί να μας βοηθήσει να συνδεθούμε ξανά με τη φύση; Ο περίπατος αποτελεί μια ανοιχτή πρόσκληση για παρατήρηση, συμμετοχή και ανακάλυψη.

Η Δήμητρα Σκανδάλη, με καταγωγή από την Πάρο και σημαντική διεθνή πορεία στον χώρο της σύγχρονης τέχνης, δημιουργεί έργα που συνομιλούν με ζητήματα περιβάλλοντος, βιωσιμότητας, συνύπαρξης και ανθρώπινης ταυτότητας.
